Last week, a group of Belgravia Leisure and BelgraviaPRO new managers took part in our first ever ‘Virtual New Manager Induction’. Previously, inductions have been a two day intensive learning program held at our National Office in Bayswater, however due to current restrictions throughout both Australia & New Zealand, the induction was moved to an online environment.
Spanning over a week, with 2 hour sessions per day, topics included Microsoft Teams and OneDrive, WHS, Procurement, Retail, People & Culture, Finances, Dashboard Training, Marketing & Guest Experience….and more!
New managers attended from far and wide – Cairns to Tasmania, Auckland to Perth and it was great to see the interaction between our new team members and staff from our Head Office.
Dan Andrews, Venue Manager at Yawa Aquatic Centre in Victoria said the Virtual New Manager Induction has helped set him up for success as a Venue Manager. “The in-depth training has given me exposure to meet and learn from Belgravia Leisure experts and has built my confidence and understanding of the key systems and processes within the organisation. The team have managed to create a personable training experience online with the ability to ask any questions along the way. I can’t thank the team enough for the time they have taken to ensure we are on the right track from the start”
