Bella is our Projects Coordinator and has been with us for over eight years. Bella started at Belgravia Leisure as a part-time lifeguard and has enjoyed a wide variety of positions with us and says “if you want to progress your career, always put your hand up for new opportunities because you never know where it might lead you.”
How has your career progressed at Belgravia Leisure?
“I first started as a lifeguard with Belgravia Leisure, it was a part-time role while I finished school. I also worked in customer service, kids birthday parties, swim teaching, any role that you can think of at one of our venues I’ve given it a crack.” Bella explained.
“My leader suggested that I put my hand up and show interest in a new project at the Belgravia Leisure support office which led to a great new opportunity. It got my foot in the door and I continued to support different projects until I got a full-time role and eventually the role I’m in now that was newly created for me”.
What excites you about being a team member at Belgravia
“It’s a really good vibe! But seriously, the constant support and encouragement that I have from my leaders and my team are amazing. I genuinely feel like everyone wants to support each other and see each other do well so we can progress in our careers.”
