All staff are welcome and encouraged to join our Working with Hazardous Chemicals Staff Stream Session with Group WHS Manager, Trent O’Hara and Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre Venue Manager, Alex Watt.
This will be a live stream event that will provide information and guidance on how our teams can safely manage hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Inclusive of common cleaning chemicals, pool chemicals and workplace acids and gases.
Topics will include WHS Legislation and internal documentation around hazardous chemicals, chemical related incidents, PPE, chemical storage, mixing, dosing, separating and quantities of chemicals on site.
This session is for any site that has a hazardous chemical on site and the session is not isolated to aquatic only sites.
It is recommended that all venue managers and teams that work with hazardous chemicals attend this session.
