Last year the Belgravia Foundation’s Inspiration Breakfast attracted up to 250 people and raised $46,069.92. Belgravia Foundation CEO Dr Jeff Walkley reported, “every cent went towards supporting the leisure sector to create opportunities in local communities to include all, with our aim being no one misses out.”
Despite the challenges faced in 2020, Belgravia Foundation has continued to support community connections, access and participation for under-represented people within our communities through innovative programs, projects and partnerships.
This year’s Inspiration Breakfast will be a little different from previous years because they are going virtual.

Mental Health e-Learning Program
The focus of the event will be on Belgravia Foundation’s signature Take Charge! programs and will feature the launch of the free Mental Health eLearning Program.
Mental health is a major concern in Australia and New Zealand, and the concern is predicted to deepen in 2021 and after, particularly so among youth – the very group who make up a large proportion of the workers and volunteers in the leisure and community sports sectors.
Developed with guidance of international experts, this cutting-edge program provides training for workers and volunteers in the leisure and community sport sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
Importantly, the program is the result of partnership and collaboration with a number of leading leisure and community sport organisations from Australia and New Zealand, ensuring sector wide support and capacity to disseminate widely to workers and volunteers – people who have experienced very difficult and challenging times during 2020.
Register for this free event to learn about an innovative program supporting the mental health of workers and volunteers in the community sport and leisure sectors, and for a chance to win prizes and enjoy exclusive giveaways!
