Nick Cox, CEO of Belgravia Leisure along with Ian Jensen-Muir, CEO Belgravia Health & Fitness have spent two productive days at Parliament House engaging with industry leaders, policymakers and advocates for active living.
Joined by influential figures like AUSactive’s Chief Executive Officer Barrie Elvish, MCM Chair and Non-Exec Director Jayne Blake and Myzone Managing Director (Asia Pacific) Emmett Williams, Nick has contributed to critical discussions on Australia’s health and fitness sector.
A highlight of the visit was attending the launch of #FitForOffice, an initiative spearheaded by Speaker of the House Milton Dick MP. Nearly 40 members of Parliament took part in the program, committing to a 30-day fitness program, highlighting the critical role exercise plays in our daily lives.
“As a nation, we can’t overlook the undeniable physical, mental and social benefits of regular exercise. Programs like this are important for creating awareness and inspiring change.
“At Belgravia, we’re committed to encouraging one million children across Australia to get active whilst also ensuring fitness is accessible for everyone. Building a healthier, more active Australia starts with strong leadership and collective action,” Nick concluded.
