The Living Longer Livng Stronger program at Aqua Jetty, has been formally recognised by the WA State Government for their role in helping seniors get fit and active. The government program targets people aged from 50 years and focuses on social inclusion as well as physical needs such as balance and falls prevention, cognitive function and strength.
Strength training can help combat the effects of Type 2 Diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart disease, sleep disorders and cancer therapy.
Aqua Jetty has invested in specialist equipment for resistance training among seniors, as well as qualified fitness staff dedicated to the needs of seniors.
