Early last week we saw the successful re-opening of all five iconic City of Sydney venues.
Sydneysiders love the water and the City of Sydney proudly provides the community with five outstanding aquatic venues. While each centre is different, they all boast 50-metre pools for lap swimming as well as a smaller pool for learners and leisure seekers.
The venues closed one month early due to the global pandemic, so it was great to see the venues re-opening for our community to enjoy getting back into their health and wellbeing routines.
Operations Manager at Andrew Boy Charlton Pool, Zubran Nabi said, “the last six months have been an awesome but challenging learning experience for the team in the City of Sydney contract.”
“The grit and determination the team have shown to get through this period have been instrumental. I want to say well done to our team on the re-opening of all City of Sydney leisure venues. This will most definitely have a positive impact on the communities’ physical, social and mental wellbeing.” Nabi concluded.
The last six months have certainly been a big learning curve with some challenging experiences but the determination and leadership our teams have shown have been instrumental to our success.
