WaterMarc was bustling on Good Friday the 2nd of April, where the team raised $2503.40 for the Good Friday Appeal.
WaterMarc continued its long-standing tradition on Good Friday, with all gold coin entry donations going directly to the Good Friday Appeal. The Good Friday Appeal is an annual fundraising activity on behalf of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. The event occurs on Good Friday every year.
Assistant Venue Manager Mark Chang said, “hundreds of people attended the venue to use the waterslide, aqua park, swimming pools, group fitness classes and more. All run by staff volunteering their time to give back to the community for a great cause!”
Mr Chang live-streamed the event on WaterMarc’s Facebook page to encourage the community to come down to the venue, donate and get involved in all the fun.

Belgravia Leisure team members at WaterMarc donated their time and created a fantastic atmosphere at WaterMarc with a raffle, hot cross buns, a colouring competition, group fitness and aquatic activities.
A guest at WaterMarc commented on the Facebook video, expressing their gratitude to the team by saying, “well done to all of the friendly WaterMarc staff that donated their time today. Thanks!!”
It’s safe to say a fun day was had by all while raising funds for a great cause.
Other Belgravia Leisure venues across Australia and New Zealand also joined in the Easter festivities in the lead up to the Easter long weekend.
