Tanya Fletcher has been working with Belgravia Leisure for 16 years!
Tanya started working at Lawnton Aquatic Centre as a Swim Teacher, Lifeguard and Schools Coordinator for eight years before moving to North Lakes as a Membership Consultant and then as Venue Manager for six years. She has currently been working at Caboolture Pool and Fitness Centre in Caboolture Queensland, as the Venue Manager for the last two years whilst also supporting the Area Managers.
“Swimming was my life as a child and after joining the airforce, getting married, and having children I came back to my love of aquatics.
“I love to travel as much as I can. One of my favourite things is going over to Moreton Bay Islands in our boat on weekends. I am driven to build teams and strive to motivate those around me with the same work principles and key values,” Tanya said.
Have you been supported in your career journey with Belgravia Leisure?
“I have had great support over my journey with Dan Cullen, Russell Grenenger and Zubran Nabi. Always pushing me out of my comfort zone to be able to succeed. Allowing me to grow within each role and in turn, inspiring me to give 100%.
“Supporting me with the flexibility of having a family and empowering me on my career path with Belgravia Leisure,” Tanya said.
What does International Women’s Day and #EmbraceEquity mean to you?
“To me, it means the recognition of women striving for equality whether that be in the workplace or personally,” Tanya concluded.
