Jarratt has been with us for 14 months and has already significantly impacted our team. Not only is Jarratt our Revenue Manager for Tourism & Wellness, he’s also a cycling enthusiast, footy fanatic, and all-around great guy.
“I was born in Western Australia but spent most of my childhood in Tassie before living in Scotland on and off for seven years, most recently moving back to Australia and settling in Melbourne in 2021.
Jarratt says he loves working with our national strategy team, where he feels supported and valued. Being a part of the team means he gets to develop and implement exciting plans that benefit our venues and guests across Australia and New Zealand.
“I’ve worked in various roles within tourism over the years, managing high-end hospitality and Tourism businesses, in B2B sales with a marketing company and joined Belgravia Leisure as a Revenue Manager at a key moment within BelgraviaPro’s growth strategy,” Jarratt says.
Recently, Jarratt supported the launch of one of our newest venues, Tawonga Tourist Park, which was a huge success! “I find it really rewarding when I get the chance to visit one of our venues, to see how our work benefits and supports the wonderful people on the ground at our venues and ultimately how it feeds into a great guest experience.”
When he’s not busy strategising, you might catch him cycling around Melbourne or cheering on his beloved footy team, “Go Eagles!”. If you’re lucky, you might even spot him playing in the local gender-inclusive pub footy league as part of the Easybeats team, where he encourages all to come along and heckle him from the sidelines!
Despite his love for the tourism industry and his busy schedule, Jarratt always makes time for the important things in life — spending time with loved ones, exploring new cultures through travel, and enjoying a glass of good wine.
