We celebrated International Day of People with Disability (IDPWD) on 3rd December to highlight the achievements of people with disability and promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in the community.
The theme for IDPwD this year was “Not all Disabilities are Visible”.
We are committed to providing our communities with safe, inclusive leisure venues that welcome ALL through our doors. Despite restrictions, Mornington Peninsula Shire, Belgravia Leisure and the International Day of People with a Disability Committee celebrated virtually!
The team got together online to showcase our community achievements through a special video-premiere.
The video celebrates this year’s theme, ‘Not all Disabilities are Visible’ and culminates in a year’s end dance to Grease Lightning.
