On Saturday the 27th of August the team at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, managed by Belgravia Leisure on behalf of the City of Sydney, celebrated the iconic venue’s 15th anniversary.
Members and guests enjoyed free entry into the venue all day and special events from 10 am to 3 pm. It was an action-packed day filled with water, fitness and fun.
Venue Manager at ITAC Jesus Sanchez said, “I am proud to manage such an iconic Sydney venue and to work with our amazing team. We proudly offer our local community a place to connect, train and swim.”
Named in honour of Australia’s five-time Gold Medal winning champion, Ian Thorpe. Unfortunately, Thorpie couldn’t attend the event in person but he did send a special message to celebrate the occasion. You can watch the video on the ITAC Facebook page here.
