Belgravia Leisure has scooped the prize pool in the annual Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) awards which recognise the best of the best in facility, service and programs in the Aquatics and Recreation space in Victoria.
Belgravia Leisure won major awards in the following categories:
- Customer Service Award – Gayle Turner (Kilsyth Centenary Pool)
- Duty Manager Award – Katarina Behan (Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre)
- Facility of the Year (Medium-sized) – Swan Hill Leisure Centre
- Swim School of the Year – WaterMarc
- Outstanding Contribution to the Aquatic and Recreation Industry Award – Dr Jeff Walkley
The spread of awards complements the hard work of Belgravia Leisure’s teams, winning five awards of the 20 on offer and further highlighting the organisation’s commitment to outstanding customer service and program delivery.

Mr Cox praised his leadership team in Victoria, led by State Manager Kris Miller and Regional Managers Kara Monaghan and Chris Worsnop, for its success during a year of dynamic growth within the organisation.

Belgravia Foundation CEO Dr Jeff Walkley won the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Aquatic and recreation Industry, for his ongoing award-winning work in access and inclusion, enabling the most isolated people in their communities to experience the physical and mental benefits of exercise.
The ARV awards are an annual event with the prestigious night held this year at Melbourne’s premier waterfront event space, Peninsula. The highlight of the industry year, the annual awards attract more than 700 industry guests, VIPs, sponsors and representatives from all levels of government.
