Belgravia Academy (previously known as Evolution Training & Education) is celebrating the recent approval to be the first RTO or TAFE in the country to train and assess students in the new Pool Lifeguard Skill Set.
Upgraded in mid-December, the new, nationally accredited Pool Lifeguard Skill Set coincided with Belgravia Acadamy’s application to train and assess students in this program, ensuring participating Belgravia Leisure lifeguards will be receiving the most up-to-date training on the market.
Lauren St Clair, GM of Belgravia Academy said: “This is such a great achievement for the team who have worked so very hard towards this goal. We are all excited about what the future holds for this program as we endeavour to roll it out across the organisation.
“Although the rollout will take time to deliver in every state due to equipment constraints and trainer availability, we will be looking to launch the program in Queensland shortly with an initial small group. We do however, welcome a home base in each state where we can store equipment and begin to train locally”.
