On April 15th, Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre raised over $3,000 towards The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The Good Friday Appeal collectively raised a record-breaking tally of $22,328,154 this year.
The team put together a video to thank the local community for their generosity and donations to the Good Friday Appeal. Steve Marquis, Venue Manager at Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre, also thanked the team who donated their time. You can watch the video on Aquarena’s Facebook page here.
Bobby Savic, Assistant Venue Manager at Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre thanked everyone for their donations on LinkedIn, with a special mention to Sash Petrevski from Quayclean Australia Pty Ltd, who donated $1,000 of his own money, bringing the total funds raised to $3,000.
Bobby wrote, “As we were organising staff and inviting various parties to support the Good Friday Appeal, we reached out to Sash Petrevski from Quayclean Australia Pty Ltd. Sash was quick to ensure that his staff were present on the day and also donated $1,000 of his own money towards the cause, helping us raise over $3,000 in total.”
