Opening in early 2022, Wai Ariki is focused on extending the destination’s existing spa, health, wellness and visitor experiences, prompting visitors to stay longer, and experience more, in Rotorua New Zealand.

Ngāti Whakaue narratives and elements of Te Arawa and Māori culture will be infused throughout the development, both through the design of the building, as well as its unique spa and wellness offerings.

General Manager Tourism and Wellness, Karen Golden, explains “Wai Ariki offers a unique blend of culture and wellness, which will deliver an experience we believe is unprecedented on the global stage.”
