Tawonga Tourist Park has recently donated equipment and furniture to registered not-for-profit and community-based charity Boys to the Bush.
Boys to the Bush is a fantastic organization that provides vital support and guidance to young men struggling with life’s challenges. Their focus on outdoor education and camping is an innovative approach that has positively impacted participants’ well-being, self-esteem, and resilience.
The donation included various pre-loved equipment such as pots and pans, kitchen utensils, and camping chairs. As a community-focused tourist park, Tawonga Tourist Park always seeks ways to support local charities and initiatives that promote community well-being and environmental sustainability.
Group Holiday Park Manager for BelgraviaPro Mark Giles said, “We are confident that the donated equipment will be put to good use in the outdoor education and camping programs run by Boys to the Bush. We believe outdoor education is crucial to engaging young people, building their confidence, and fostering a love of nature and the outdoors.
“We are honoured to contribute in some small way to this worthwhile cause and help Boys to the Bush,” Mark concluded.
