Swan Hill Rural City Council has announced an injection to the tune of $2.95 million to fund upgrades at Swan Hill Rural City Council leisure centres.

The funding was announced by Member for Northern Victoria, Mark Gepp MP, who visited Robinvale Leisure Centre to meet the team.

Swan Hill Rural City Council Mayor Bill Moar said the funding would transform community indoor leisure centres in Swan Hill and Robinvale.

The funding will go towards a significant gym expansion at Swan Hill Leisure Centre while Robinvale Leisure Centre will benefit from expanded gym space, along with an additional highball court.

Acting Venue Manager Karla Barnes was thrilled that the venue would be receiving some much-needed upgrades. “We are looking forward to unveiling the upgrades to the local community and creating a truly welcoming experience at Swan Hill and Robinvale,” she said.
