Farmyard antics took over Yarrambat’s Goanna Golf these July school holidays. A fully booked Pat n’ Putt activation delighted little and big humans from our local community as they met animal friends from Myuna Animal Nursery.
Community Inclusion Officer, Ali Berechree said, “Getting kids outside and active during the colder days of winter break can be tough. However, when we add some cute and cuddly farm animals to a post-round of mini golf, it generates a lot of excitement with little and big kids.”
“At Yarrambat Park Golf Course, we love to bring something different to the community as much as possible during the school breaks. The Pat n’ Putt activation was a great initiative by the team and was a brilliant success for all involved,” said Acting Venue Manager, Jack McDonald.
“The team at Yarrambat Park Golf Course and Goanna Golf are community-focused and with that in mind, we always strive to create and innovate based on community needs. As an inclusive and accessible activation, Pat n’ Putt will definitely make a return visit to Goanna Golf,” Mr McDonald concluded.
The Petting Zoo was a free entry with the purchase of a mini-golf round and the one-day activation was sold out!
