Mum-of-one Michelle has been employed by Belgravia Leisure since 2005 and has held various positions along her journey at the organisation before becoming a Facility Manager at Bribie Island Aquatic Centre.

In 2018, Michelle and her partner Catherine welcomed their son William into the world and is grateful for the flexibility and support that Belgravia Leisure provides working parents.  

Michelle appreciated Belgravia Leisure’s support of her transition into motherhood including providing a flexible working roster and encouraging a healthy work-life balance. “To me, work is part of my life and it’s up to me to ensure I enjoy my work,” said Michelle. “I’m lucky enough to say that for the majority of my working life I truly have enjoyed the work I do. Over the last seven years, my job as an aquatic centre manager has brought me great joy and challenges too. My work is part of my life and my life is part of my work; I might take my uniform off, but it’s a part of who I am.”
