Sheryl Hartnett is a proud grandmother of 15 and has been our dedicated Customer Service Officer at Franklin Pool & Leisure in New Zealand for the past five months.
Sheryl says, “Before joining Belgravia Leisure, my journey included roles as a caregiver, various reception jobs and a stint as a self-employed individual. I strongly believe in extending a helping hand when and where needed. That’s why I’ve been so excited about the launch of the Cérge app at Franklin Pool & Leisure in New Zealand.
“I absolutely love my role at Belgravia Leisure. Interacting with amazing people from diverse backgrounds is a privilege and I’m fortunate to be part of an incredible team.”
Cérge, a companion app for people with disabilities has introduced a new level of accessibility to our venues. The app features an array of tools, including Audio Guides, Access Guides, Keyword sign boards, Sensory Guides and a Visual Story. It even offers a 360-degree Virtual Tour of the venue, allowing individuals to explore the facility online and ensure its accessibility.
As a former caregiver, when Sheryl received the Cérge notification in venue she was more than happy to help. “Sharing the information with our team, we were ready to ensure a great customer experience for individuals using the app.
“The Cérge notification system has been extremely valuable to the team. The app provided information about Judith, a Deaf individual, so we could proactively prepare for her arrival, ensuring a seamless and inclusive service.
“The app’s real-time insights allowed me to connect with Judith on a personal level, fostering a sense of familiarity and reducing any potential awkwardness.
“I wasn’t nervous about meeting Judith, thanks to Cérge. It felt like we were on the same page from the start, making everything more comfortable and enjoyable. The service is nothing short of brilliant and I found myself buzzing with excitement after the experience. I genuinely look forward to helping more customers through this fantastic initiative.
