Meet Abby, our incredible NSW Marketing Specialist! Abby has been with us for just over two years now, starting in the NSW Marketing Coordinator role and moving into a Marketing Specialist role a year ago.
What are your magic moments working with Belgravia Leisure?
“There are so many highlights over the last two years working with Belgravia Leisure. For me, it’s the little things like seeing a campaign rolled out in our venues and how our local teams get involved. Our Simply the Best campaign was a winner on that front!”
“Some of the milestone projects for me are being part of the team that launched the Home Fitness Network within days of our venues closing their doors in March 2020. More recently launching our official GOswim website nationally,” Abby explained.
Tell us about the people you work with
“The BEST team ever! I am lucky enough to work in the Marketing and Communications team. I also get to work alongside the Sales, Health and Wellbeing and Aquatic teams across a diverse range of brands and programs,” Abby explained.
What is your favourite thing about your career?
“The best part about working at Belgravia Leisure is the people and that each day is different. There are so many opportunities and projects going all the time,” Abby said.
What are three things you’re most passionate about in life and why?
- I LOVE to travel! I have been lucky enough to spend a fair amount of time overseas. The best part is visiting a new place for the first time, experiencing the culture, food and seeing some of the most beautiful places. I’m counting the days until we can travel overseas again!
- Family and friends play a big role in my life, there is nothing better than spending time with those closest to you.
- I am also a Girl Guide Leader (pause for the Girl Scout Cookie jokes), I have been volunteering as a leader for the last six years. Having the opportunity to empower young girls to become independent and confident young women, is what makes it all worth it. Plus it’s fun!
