Michelle has been a fantastic teacher, always respectful of boundaries and finding new and fun teaching methods. I’ve also noticed a reduction in my anxiety coming to Lawnton each week,” Melinda says, which she attributes to staff and patrons who are always friendly and welcoming.
Michael Fox, Venue Manager of Lawnton Aquatic Centre, is proud of the team’s passion and commitment to supporting the community and says, “We try to include every student in mainstream lessons, but we also cater for those that need one on one support and are currently running 48 Individual Program classes.
“Lawnton has always fostered a culture of inclusiveness, and we will continue to support the community in any way we can. Inclusivity should be a top priority for all institutions,” Michael concluded.
