We would like to extend a big welcome to Alex and Chris Evans, our Park Managers at First Sun Holiday Park Byron Bay. Here’s a bit more about them and the role they play at Belgravia.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your previous role/s if any.
We have done relief in Harvey Bay at Torquay & Scarness before offered a permanent role in Narrabri. After 7 months there we were asked to take on the challenge of First Sun. A massive step up and challenge but absolutely enjoying the ride.
We’re not only a caravan park here, but we also have 18 cabins, 6 hippy huts and 22 style motel rooms.
What are you enjoying the most about your position so far?
I would have to say the enjoyment of kids faces when they arrive for their holiday, it’s always such a happy time for families and you get to enjoy that with them.
How do you incorporate health and fitness into your lifestyle?
Just working here, keeps us fit! Other than that, walks along the beach are great too.
How do you manage a healthy work-life balance?
Taking time out and doing what we enjoy on our days off. We live on-site so we do try to get off-site as much as we can to give us a chance to unwind.
What are three things you’re most passionate about in life and why?
- Our family, we have 4 kids and making memories with them is important to us.
- Health, so we can keep up with our 4 kids.
- Holidays, we always try and have something booked so we have that time to look forward to.
