Australia’s Olympic gold medal-winning swim coaches and teachers have shared the spoils at the annual 2021/22 SWIM Coaches and Teachers Australia Awards on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
The event was attended by over 350 of Australia’s leading coaches and teachers, who are guiding the stars of the pool in the sport’s latest golden era.
Team Belgravia Leisure was in attendance at the awards with Ferny Hills Aquatic Centre winning the award for Best Swim School for Innovation and Team Development.

Tanya Newsome, Venue Manager at Ferny Hills Aquatic Centre said, “It was an honour to be recognised within the industry for our ongoing commitment to Learn to Swim and staff training.”
Ferny Hills Aquatic Centre is located in Ferny Hills, North West Brisbane. The venue offers visitors a 50-metre outdoor heated lap swimming pool and a free-form toddlers’ play pool. There has been a two-million-dollar redevelopment of the 15-metre swimming pool turning it into an indoor 32-degree heated programs swimming pool.
