Attention, sports enthusiasts! An incredible opportunity has emerged for you to become a cricket coach alongside Cricket Australia and Belgravia Leisure. We are embarking on an initiative to deliver Woolworths Cricket Blast programs in schools across Victoria, and we need enthusiastic individuals like you to make it a roaring success.
Building on the triumph of our pilot program in late 2022 and early 2023, we are now seeking energetic and active individuals to facilitate engaging four-week before and after-school programs in selected schools throughout Victoria, starting from Term 2.
Passion for cricket is a must, but don’t worry if you lack prior coaching experience. We are looking for candidates who possess good communication and interpersonal skills and can create exciting and enjoyable training sessions.
Cricket Australia will provide comprehensive training and resources to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge. Each shift will be at least three hours and offer above-award wages, presenting an excellent opportunity to work with Victoria’s culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
By joining this program, you can enhance your coaching skills, earn additional income, and significantly impact the lives of children in CALD communities across the state. As a Woolworths Cricket Blast coach, you will share your love for cricket with enthusiastic kids, witness their growth and development both on and off the field.
This role allows you to strengthen your communication and leadership abilities while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among children. Moreover, the support provided by Cricket Australia and the chance to engage with CALD communities make this coaching position even more fulfilling.
