In the tourism industry, each day holds a new adventure and Belgravia Academy Tourism Courses has become a gateway for aspiring professionals to turn their passion for travel into a rewarding career.
Within the holiday parks and resorts world, Belgravia Academy offers a blend of online learning and real-world experiences to shape the next generation of tourism leaders.
Jodi Carnes, the Park Manager at Tawonga Holiday Park, is passionate about the diverse aspects of her role, stating, “What I appreciate about working in the tourism industry is the diversity. There are so many different cultures, beliefs and people of all ages and interests, you learn a lot and no two days are the same.
“Listening to people’s travel adventures, you can learn a lot from travellers and I love that I’ve helped them have a great customer experience when visiting our venue,” Jodi said.
Training with Belgravia Academy, students embark on a journey that not only provides knowledge but also fosters an appreciation for the richness of cultures and backgrounds they’ll encounter in their careers.

Daniel Haynes, Area Manager in Southern NSW, shares his passion for caravan, camping and exploring. “I live and breathe caravaning, camping and fishing and I really enjoy meeting like-minded people and hearing stories of their travels.
“Before my current role, I was sick of the 12-hour days 7 days a week lifestyle of owning my own business with no stability. I’ve now found a fulfilling job that aligns with my lifestyle and I enjoy the variety of tasks that come with park management,” Daniel said.
At Belgravia Academy, our courses teach you how to work well, manage your time, and communicate effectively. We help you become independent and solve problems creatively within a stable environment. Modules focusing on efficient work practices, coupled with hands-on assessments at holiday parks, ensure that students acquire the essential skills to manage responsibilities.
Kylie-Anne Wyrzuc, Park Manager at Spicer Caravan Park, embarked on a career shift after a revealing trip to Queensland. “I embarked on a 6-week journey to Queensland in 2022 with my partner Mark, seeking respite from 15 years of mental health work-induced burnout.
“Mid-research on the road, I made a life-altering decision to quit my job. When Mark questioned my choice, I explained that a new opportunity awaited—one where I could work alongside someone I care about. His response? ‘Who?’ I simply replied, ‘You.’
“Applying for three park positions, I received responses from all, conducted interviews in the van during our holiday and here we are at Spicer!” Kylie-Anne’s journey involved making decisions on the road. Belgravia Academy acknowledges the importance of flexibility. The courses are designed for self-paced learning, delivered through online modules and virtual tutorials.
Belgravia Academy also recognises the importance of real-world experiences. The opportunity for placements through partnerships with BPro or self-sourcing ensures that students can gain hands-on experience, bridging the gap between learning and application.
Jodi, Daniel, and Kylie-Anne’s experiences showcase the versatile advantages our training offers to individuals seeking different outcomes. We strive to provide a well-rounded approach, preparing individuals for successful careers in the diverse landscape of the tourism industry.
