East Fremantle Community Park (EFCP) recently proved itself as a hub for sports and community spirit during the recent AFL Masters National Carnival. Between September 30 and October 5, the brand-new facility hosted a series of games that brought together players, families and fans from across Australia.
EFCP’s state-of-the-art oval, which opened in May, came alive during the week-long event, while its vibrant hospitality venue, Carnaby’s, was in full swing.
Venue Manager Glen McCulloch explained, “The AFL Masters National Carnival at East Fremantle Community Park was a huge success. The precinct was buzzing all week as players, officials and spectators came together to enjoy the event.
“The camaraderie among players spilled over to the fans and it was fantastic to see the community rally around it. The feedback on our facilities and service has been overwhelmingly positive.”
The AFL Masters board also praised the park, with one board member, Bryan, highlighting the convenience and warmth of the venue.
“It’s been an honour to play at such a fantastic facility. The feedback from players and families has been amazing, many consider this the venue of choice. Carnaby’s was a hit too, we had dinner there the other night and the food was exceptional. It’s been a joy to be welcomed here,” Bryan said.
Carnaby’s, located on-site, catered to the event with tailored specials, providing a cozy spot for players, their families and fans to relax and connect. The venue’s vibrant atmosphere, combined with delicious food and friendly service, made it a highlight of the week.
As EFCP continues to establish itself as a go-to destination for sports and community events, there’s plenty more to look forward to. Visit East Fremantle Community Park’s website to stay updated on upcoming events and activations.
