Following our commitment to inclusion shared for Harmony Week 2025, we’re proud to reflect on the creative and heartfelt ways our teams celebrated during Harmony Week. Across our venues, Harmony Week was a meaningful experience for our teams, members and the communities we serve.

From craft tables to cultural feasts, our teams found thoughtful ways to bring Harmony Week to life. At Singleton Gym and Swim Centre, a Harmony Tree bloomed with decorations created by GOswim participants and children from creche.
At Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre, the team came together for a shared staff lunch, with everyone bringing food that represented their cultural background. The foyer hosted a vibrant display of flags representing the cultural heritage of members and guests, inviting members to join in a fun “name the flag” competition.
Manning Aquatic Centre Bathurst transformed a wall into a colourful celebration, with posters and artwork made by visitors. Similarly, Albany Creek Leisure Centre and Redcliffe War Memorial Pool proudly displayed posters and flags throughout the venue, encouraging children to colour in Harmony balloons and add them to a growing collage on the wall.
These simple yet powerful acts of recognition reflect the heart of Harmony Week by acknowledging and celebrating our differences, embracing what makes each of us unique and creating welcoming spaces for all.
We remain committed to building inclusive, respectful and diverse environments across all our venues, not just for a week but every day of the year.
