Belgravia has completed Stage 1 auditing for our WHS accreditation through SAI Global, undertaking three audits at our Support Office, Williamstown QJ Park and Aquarena.
Only a random selection of a further 17 venues will take part in the final Stage 2 auditing process with the end goal being to gain accreditation across Belgravia Leisure and Belgravia PRO, from this random selection of sites by April/May 2021.
New venues will continue to be randomly audited. To ensure we maintain our WHS Accreditation year on year, all Belgravia Leisure and Belgravia PRO sites must maintain the same WHS Standard as our audited sites. We are developing a new internal WHS 45001 Standard Site Audit to comply with the 45001 Standard.
Completion of this audit will be mandatory for all Belgravia Leisure and Belgravia PRO sites. This new online audit will be released in the second part of this year.
A site’s non-compliance to a random site audit undertaken from the external accreditation auditors, or a major incident, can stop the accreditation. So it is important that all venues get involved in ensuring they are operating safely according to the standard.
