On Monday the 19th of April, Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre supported the Youth Week event YouthChella organised by Youth Off The Streets to celebrate the youth of the Inner West. In particular, homeless and disadvantaged youth and those diagnosed with a mental illness.
Various organisations supported the cause and AKAC was a proud partner.
Venue Manager at Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, Alex Watt said “the team put up a stall at the event and organised a Kettle Bell Challenge that some young people were happy to give a shot! We gave away one three months free full access membership in the raffle and 13 free swim passes to the participants of the Kettle Bell Challenge.”
The event was also graced by NRL State of Origin coach, Brad Fittler and representatives of the Inner West Council.
