Reflective vests, sun hats and rubbish grabbers in hand, Belgravia Leisure head office team members swapped desks for the outdoors for the morning as they rolled up their sleeves on Clean Up Australia Day.

Around 15 Bayswater based team members took part in the local clean up effort, collecting litter from the surrounding area and helping prevent rubbish from entering the natural reserve behind the office. The initiative was a simple but meaningful way to support the local environment and protect nearby green spaces.

Alexia Morgan, General Manager Environment and Sustainability, said:

“It’s great to see our team step outside and take action to care for the environment around our workplace. Efforts like this help protect nearby natural spaces and waterways and show how small actions can make a real difference when we work together.

Clean Up Australia Day continues to be a powerful reminder that caring for the environment does not always require large scale projects, sometimes it starts with stepping outside, picking up a bag and doing what we can to protect the planet.
