Who’s tuning in to this season of The Block on Channel 9? We certainly are!
The season is officially underway, with the first episode having premiered on Sunday, 27 July. Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa, proudly managed by Belgravia Leisure, will be featured across four weeks of the show’s 20th season, now airing Sundays at 7:00pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm.
Contestants are tasked with renovating five of our private baths, transforming them into beautifully reimagined and unique spaces.
This particular challenge comes with the biggest prize ever awarded in the history of The Block. The winning contestants will receive a $260,000 caravan to auction alongside their home.
In a first for the show, this challenge was completed within a private business. Not just any business, but one that guests can experience for themselves. Established in 1895, Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa is the only historic bathhouse in Victoria, drawing mineral-rich waters directly from the source in Hepburn Springs, home to 75% of Australia’s natural mineral water. It offers a unique blend of traditional wellness bathing and modern spa therapies, including:
- Sanctuary bathing with aroma steam rooms, spa couches, magnesium pools, cool down pool and a hammam.
- Private mineral baths and spa treatments such as facials, massages, and body wraps.
- Wellness retreats and seasonal activations, including workshops, yoga, and sound healing.
Guests can also stay in one of 23 villas, overlooking bushland, and access the Hepburn Pavilion Café and event space—an Edwardian heritage-listed building that hosts weddings, conferences, and wellness events.
The venue is accredited under the Quality Tourism Framework for Sustainable Tourism, and has recently undergone over $1.7 million in capital upgrades, including change room refurbishments and green energy initiatives.
