We’re excited to share the excitement from the official grand opening of Palmerston’s latest gem, the swimming, wellness, events, leisure and lifestyle precinct featuring Australia’s first two-storey aquatic course. Guests were welcomed to SWELL to explore the water adventure play zone on Sunday, December 17.
The team were excited to share the groundbreaking addition to the venue set to unlock a world of excitement for guests, just in time for the school holidays! Participants will be harnessed in to conquer obstacles amidst playful water splashes.
City of Palmerston Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell commended the innovative design, emphasising the thrill within a secure environment. “We are confident that the combination of excitement and safety measures will make this a must-do attraction in Palmerston for years to come,” she said.
The Adventure Play course maintains strict safety criteria. To participate, individuals must be over 122cm tall and weigh under 136kgs. A maximum of 15 people are allowed on the equipment at once.
Our QLD State Manager, Dan Cullen, emphasised safety as our paramount concern. “Our goal is to provide a space where the community can have fun, stay active and create lasting memories. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety in all the venues we manage,” Dan said.
While entry is free, bookings are required with 45-minute time slots available, including a 15-minute safety briefing and harnessing. You can visit the website to secure your spot and embark on your next adventure with SWELL.
