In one of the most competitive periods in the Road to a Million tourism campaign, four of Queensland’s coastal Bpro parks have surged ahead, securing top‑tier positions in the top 20 high‑performing tourist parks across Queensland – over four consecutive months – in December’s recently published rankings.
In a field of more than 3000+ registered parks, the odds were stacked high. But Bpro’s teams went higher.
Tourism has faced intense pressure in recent years with shifting travel trends and changing guest expectations for holiday parks. Securing a place in these rankings once is impressive; ranking repeatedly, across multiple parks, is something else entirely.
The real story lies in consistency: Burrum Heads Beachfront Tourist Park have been in the top 20 Queensland parks leaderboard for three consecutive years. This level of sustained excellence defies industry expectations, reflecting a team‑wide commitment to going above and beyond for guests by creating memorable experiences.
The top 20 Queensland rankings include Elliott Heads Holiday Park (10th, achieving a top 10 ranking), Scarness Beachfront Tourist Park (16th), Torquay Beachfront Tourist Park (17th) and Burrum Heads Beachfront Tourist Park (19th) who delivered exceptional monthly results again and again. Meanwhile, Pialba Beachfront and Moore Park Beach continued their rise, placing in the top 50 and proving the depth of performance across the whole group.

Community at the heart of every win
While campaign rankings are impressive, Bpro’s people are the heart of these achievements.

Kym Rayfield, Bpro Area Manager across Fraser Coast & Bundaberg and the Park Manager of Burrum Heads Beachfront Tourist Park, said:
“This is an exceptional achievement for our coastal parks – our dedicated park managers and teams on the ground, who remain committed to excellence in every experience, are the real heroes of the campaign.
Our parks’ repeated presence in the Top 20 and Top 10 Queensland lists reinforces our commitment to providing guests with memorable, high quality experiences. Well done to everyone.”
Sean, Assistant Park Manager at Burrum Heads also added:
“We treat the park like our own big backyard, which makes it easy to be passionate about. We’ve now spent three Christmases at this site and worked through a full rebuild. During that time, we’ve not only performed strongly in this campaign, but we’ve also been finalists two years in a row (2024 and 2025) in the Caravanning Queensland Awards for Tidy Park and Team of the Year. This year, we’re determined to take home the Tidy Park Award.”
