On May 25, our Belgravia Leisure Queensland teams spent the morning at Speedo Headquarters in Brisbane to view Speedo’s Summer 22 Range.
With 11 of our Queensland venues in attendance, our teams were lucky enough to have Speedo Olympic athletes Abbey Harkin and Gold Medalist Zac Stubblety-Cook, fresh off a world record last week, in attendance and even model the range for them.
Zac brought his gold medal from Tokyo last year, and they began the day by watching his world record swim from the Australian Nationals last week. It was the first time Zac had re-watched the race.
Zubran Nabi, Queensland Area Manager, was in attendance and says, “It was a special surprise for the team to have Australian swimmers Abby and Zac attend the event. A great day was had by all.”
