Les is our Park Manager at Mawley Holiday Park in New Zealand and has been with Belgravia Leisure for almost three years.
Les says he really enjoys managing the park and the constant interactions with travellers, “which is both entertaining and educational, as I aspire to be a Grey Nomad,” he explained.
How have you, your team & venue been impacted by COVID-19 & what have you learnt?
“While the lockdowns have provided very quiet periods, the post lockdown period of last year was very financially beneficial, due to increased domestic travel. Let’s hope the same applies after current restrictions are removed.”
“Obviously, lockdowns and restrictions have a significantly different impact on different people, which is probably why we have so many different viewpoints out there about COVID-19 and the future,” Les explained.
What are you most passionate about in life and why?
“I’m passionate about caravanning as this is hopefully the next phase of my life’s journey! As well as snow skiing as it’s one of the few remaining sports that my body can handle,” Les concluded.
