Emma Lowe is Belgravia Leisure’s National Access and Inclusion Coordinator. Emma has been with Belgravia for over eight years, and in that time, she has accomplished a phenomenal amount in the access and inclusion space.
Emma began her journey at Belgravia as a customer service officer, then went on to become a personal trainer and inclusion coordinator before being promoted to the position of National Access and Inclusion Coordinator.
Emma credits the leaders at Belgravia for inspiring her leadership journey, “I would definitely say Belgravia’s leaders act as mentors through your career opportunities. My direct managers at the time offered opportunities that I hadn’t even thought I could be a part of, so having them as my managers was a great supporting factor.”
“Belgravia has helped me personally become more confident in my role. Starting as quite a young person with the company, I’ve noticed that I’ve become more confident and happy to lead other staff with my knowledge.”
Emma encourages anyone and everyone to work for Belgravia Leisure. “It’s a great team environment and there are always opportunities to progress. For instance, if you’re a customer service officer now, there’s always the opportunity to progress to something completely different, like marketing or access and inclusion. You just have ask for opportunities because our business is growing, evolving and there so there will definitely be career options out there for everyone.”
When asked about where she sees her role going Emma said, “I’m excited to, in the future, have the opportunity to lead more staff and improve my communication skills to ensure that our staff and organisation have the same purpose and goals and that in turn leads to greater outcomes for the community.”
