When and where did you start working with Belgravia Leisure?
I started as a swim teacher at WaterMarc in 2014 before progressing into an Aquatics Services Officer role while continuing to teach.
How has your career progressed?
In 2017, I was promoted to Swim School Coordinator at East Keilor Leisure Centre. This was my first opportunity to lead a large team of swim teachers and ASO’s.
Since then I have been fortunate enough to secure the role of Aquatic Manager at WaterMarc, whereby I oversee the entire swimming and water safety program as well as our school swimming program.
My current role at WaterMarc also has me working closely with local sporting clubs and other community groups with regard to programming the pool space at WaterMarc for various events and training sessions.
What do you love about your role?
I love that I play a role in supporting colleagues to do their best work and that we help the community through delivering a great swimming and water safety program.
How do you find a healthy work-life balance?
I like to balance work with catching up with friends and family, going on holidays as well as continuing to develop skills in leadership, business and digital marketing.
What are some of your goals/aspirations for 2020?
To continue to grow the GOswim program at WaterMarc while supporting other Belgravia Sites to engage their customer base through great online content.
