Dingley Village Adventure Golf has hosted its second successful Golf for Good Mini Golf event, raising vital funds for its All Abilities mini golf program.
With the support of Belgravia Foundation, Dingley Village Adventure Golf provides free access to participants in the All Abilities program and takes immense pride in being able to provide this service for its local community. The program is designed to encourage participants and their carers to visit the venue with the opportunity to make new connections on the greens in a social and inclusive capacity without the physical exertion of traditional golf.
Venue Manager Terry Smith said, “Belgravia Foundation’s Golf for Good is a terrific initiative to raise funds for the charity to invest in programs locally. The funded All Abilities Mini Golf program generates significant opportunities for our most vulnerable by providing access and inclusion to mini golf.
“Our programs are not only beneficial for physical wellbeing, but also create great social connections for participants, families, carers and support workers.”
“Our mini golf fundraising events are becoming increasingly popular as the local community is eager to support the benefits of what All Abilities programs brings to those in need,” concluded Terry.
“Since Dingley Village Adventure Golf began their Golf for Good initiative, they have raised over $500 towards All Abilities programming held at Dingley Village Adventure Golf and Spring Park Golf Course.
Belgravia Leisure golf courses regularly hold a range of community events to raise funds for local causes via our charity partner, Belgravia Foundation. Funds raised are 100% re-invested back into local communities.
