Celebrating a birthday at Point Walter Golf Course with your mates is always an occasion to look forward to. When your birthday number consists of three digits, the celebrations are greater than anyone could ever imagine.
Introducing Point Walter Golf Course golfer, Jim Birt who turned 100 years young in April. Jim is an active player at Point Walter Golf Course and many will see him enjoying a quiet drink with his friends post-round.
“Watching Jim play is something to behold. His jovial and friendly nature is charismatic and you can’t help but stop and have a chat with him. Jim is shooting below his age each round and keeps his golfing buddies on their toes. Our patrons are core to who we are at Point Walter Golf Course and Jim continuing to be a part of our golfing family, is quite special. Our hope is, if we reach 100 years young, we too will still be on the fairways enjoying the game we all love,” said Gavin Williams, Belgravia Leisure Marketing Coordinator.
