Scott Vanderheyden, Belgravia Leisure’s Area Manager for South West NSW, has been elected as a board member for the Aquatic and Recreation Institute (ARI NSW).
ARINSW held its annual general meeting on 31 May 2022. At the AGM the ARINSW members appointed Scott Vanderheyden to the board of directors. The terms of Stan Wall MAICD FGIA and Marco Blanco were also extended.
Matt Griffiths, ARINSW Chairperson, said “We are thrilled to welcome someone of Scott’s calibre to the ARINSW Board and congratulate him on his appointment. In particular, I thank the departing board members, Jared Wilson, Nichole Edsall, Andrew Beamer and Alex Simmons, for their enormous contributions over the years.”
On being appointed to the ARINSW Board, Scott Vanderheyden said “As someone that has been involved in the aquatic and recreation industry for the last 20 years, I am really excited at the opportunity to join the ARINSW Board. I see my role as having a positive influence and impact on the industry as a whole and supporting the ARINSW in developing a sustainable and rewarding pathway for the next generation of aquatic and leisure professionals.
“ARINSW has done so much great work over the COVID-19 period to support the industry and I am honoured to have joined an organisation that promotes positive change,” Scott concluded.
