On 22 September 2020 Belgravia and Sports Community pooled resources to launch our newest venture, the wholly owned Belgravia Sports Community (trading as Sports Community). This new operating division, a part of Belgravia Leisure, will be overseen by CEO Steve Pallas (previously CEO Sports Community) and directly supported by Belgravia Leisure, Shared Services (including Marketing, Finance, Legal and Corporate Services) and leveraging the greater Belgravia Group and network.
Belgravia Sports Community is a natural expansion in the Belgravia Commercial Partnerships strategy and directly aligned with the work we are conducting around sports and our vision to positively impact the lives of a million kids across Australia.
Over the past 12 months Belgravia has become a beacon for distressed Sports due to our significant geographical footprint, workforce, goods and services. To date we have lacked some key tools required to support Sports and in Australia there is no industry preferred partner for supporting sports (inc. Sports Australia).
With Belgravia Sports Community – our goal is to improve Sports, participation and performance in Australia / New Zealand by helping Sports to become more efficient, enable Sports to reinvest savings from administration (and other) services directly back into their Sport to grow participation and performance.
To date, Sports Community has been directly supporting 2000+ sporting clubs, LGAs, NSOs and SSOs in a number of different areas of governance, administration and training.
