Belgravia Health and Leisure Group are supporting International Women’s Day and getting behind the attempt to break the world record for the highest attendance for a women’s sporting event by attempting to fill the MCG.

The MCG will host the final of the ICC T20 World Cup on International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8. 

Global pop sensation Katy Perry will perform exclusively at the final, with the game starting at 7pm and will be played under lights.

Currently, the highest attendance figure for a Women’s sporting event is 90,185, which was the 1999 World Cup Soccer final between the USA and China. The ten best women’s cricket teams in the world will compete in the world cup.
