In a fast-evolving caravan and camping industry contributing $27B+ to the Australian economy, Bpro’s tourism leaders were proud to attend the Caravan Industry Association of Queensland (CPAQ) state conference, followed by the Caravan Industry Association of Australia (CIAA)’s national conference, held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in the Gold Coast.
Two of Bpro’s Queensland parks received industry-leading recognition: Ocean Beach Tourist Park took home a bronze ReviewPro People’s Choice Award and Burrum Heads Beachfront Tourist Park were nominated for the Tidy Park Award category.

“We’re incredibly elated for the team at Ocean Beach to have taken home the bronze ReviewPro People’s Choice Caravan Park of the Year at the 2026 CIAA Awards – especially our Park Managers, Bec Morgan and Pete Wilson,” said Business Operations Manager Amber Hughes.
“Being recognised directly by our guests speaks volumes about our approach to creating welcoming, memorable parks that people love coming back to.”
Ocean Beach Tourist Park has now been recognised in the ReviewPro People’s Choice Awards five times over the past six years – the park took home Silver in 2021, Bronze in 2022, Silver in 2024, Gold in 2025 and now Bronze in 2026.
Amber also thanked City of Gold Coast’s Andrew Illingworth and Jeff Bell for the continued partnership and ongoing support.

About the CIAA and CPAQ conferences
The Caravan Industry Association of Australia is the peak national body for the caravanning and camping industry in Australia. The landmark events are the sector’s biggest annual gatherings, bringing together operators, suppliers and sector leaders helping power millions of nights stayed across Australia’s holiday parks.
With demand continuing to rise, Bpro gathered insights on smart park management, sustainable operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences at scale for long‑term growth into the future.
The CIAA conference included keynote and industry speakers, presenting topics relating to current industry challenges such as fuel shortages, global travel disruptions and the rising cost of living. Whilst statistics and current landscape painted a challenging picture, the overarching theme was the resilience of the tourism industry in the face of difficult circumstances.
