We are proud to announce that two of our Queensland venues, Nerang Aquatic Centre and Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre have achieved Silver Status in safety within their aquatic operations as part of the Royal Life Saving Society Australia’s Platinum Pools Accreditation program. This is a massive achievement as these centres are two of only three facilities with Silver Status in all of Queensland.
Nerang and Mudgeeraba join six other Belgravia Leisure managed venues in Victoria that have achieved the highest level of endorsement as Platinum Pools. These venues include Pelican Park Recreation Centre, WaterMarc, Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Knox Leisureworks, Yawa Aquatic Centre and Ascot Vale Leisure Centre.
Queensland’s Regional Manager, Gary Baldwin, said, “We couldn’t be more excited to see our team’s dedication to safety, risk management, compliance, and accountability pay off with this recognition.
“Our safety culture is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re thrilled to see it reflected in our impressive accreditation scores of 93% and 96%. We’re already working closely with our partners at the City of Gold Coast to reach the next grading level in time for the next review, and we are confident we can make it happen,” Gary concluded.
