Yarrambat Park Golf Course PGA Pro Brock Gillard who won the Medway Pro-Am in December of last year has qualified to compete in the 2022 Vic Open.

The event will be held at 13th Beach Golf Links in Barwon Heads from 10 – 13 February. The ISPS Hand Vic Open is one of the leading Australian golf events where men and women play on the same courses, at the same time, for equal prize money.

In December of last year, Brock was the early leader of the Medway Pro-Am with seven birdies in his round of four-under 66. It took a while for his score to be matched to a three-way tie for the win.

Brock pictured above is exhilarated to qualify to compete in the 2022 Vic Open and says, “I was stoked to be able to perform at the qualifying tournament. It’s just great to be part of Victoria’s biggest professional event. Come round one this Thursday, the plan is to enjoy the moment and play smart golf.”

Three places in the 150^th Open at St Andrews, Scotland, will be awarded to the leading three players of the event. We send our best wishes to Brock, we will have our fingers crossed for a top-three finish!
