WaterMarc have once again shown their commitment to water safety, renewing the prestigious Platinum Pool accreditation from Life Saving Victoria (LSV). This remarkable achievement marks the sixth consecutive year the aquatic venue has been recognised for its unwavering commitment to aquatic safety and risk management. 

Platinum Pool status is awarded to aquatic facilities providing outstanding levels of safety. To renew the accreditation, the team at WaterMarc had to undertake a rigorous series of assessments to ensure it met all LSV’s criteria.

Wes Hurrey, Venue Manager at WaterMarc, said, “We take pride in consistently showcasing our commitment to water safety. A big shout-out to our safety team for their ongoing efforts in maintaining a secure aquatic environment for our teams and the local community.

“Achieving the Platinum Pool accreditation for the sixth consecutive year is a testament not only to our safety team but to our entire staff, from lifeguards to management and our Council partners.

“We encourage everyone to prioritise safety when in and around water. As we enter the holiday season and warmer months, it’s crucial to always think safe, act safe and be safe when in and around the water.”
