If there’s one thing Aussie families love, it’s a long weekend done right and this Easter, Bpro holiday parks delivered four delicious days of fun, fresh air and family memories.
From Easter Bunny appearances to egg hunts and face painting, six parks went all out to keep little campers entertained and parents relaxed. Here’s where families hopped to for their Easter long weekend.
New South Wales
BIG4 Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park
Set among the coastal bushland of North Narrabeen, BIG4 Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park turned April into an Easter celebration to remember. Families were treated to a full calendar of festive fun including free face painting, colouring competitions, movie nights, a visit from the Easter Bunny and even appearances from a reptile handler and Kidz Zoo mobile petting zoo. In Byron Bay, while kids got busy with Easter crafts and egg hunts, adults enjoyed beachside drinks and live music.
“It was amazing to see families switching off, enjoying the sunshine and just spending quality time together,” said Park Manager, Jacynta Donald. See what Easter looked like at First Sun here.
In the Blue Mountains, Blackheath Glen Tourist Park brought Easter magic to its leafy surrounds, with activities designed to delight campers of all ages. Guests enjoyed an Easter-themed selfie display, Easter Bunny visit, Guess the Lolly Jar challenge and colouring-in competitions – all set against its beautifully kept gardens.
“We loved putting these activities together for the kids. It’s really important to us that we create fun, memorable experiences for families,” said Angela Garlick, Blackheath Park Manager.

Victoria
With the dramatic beauty of the Alpine National Park as its backdrop, Tawonga Tourist Park delivered face painting, scavenger hunts and a dedicated arts and crafts zone for kids as parents soaked up the alpine atmosphere and a break from cooking thanks to visiting food van, Redhead and Chef.

Queensland
Easter at Lake Wivenhoe Campgrounds was all about simple pleasures done well. Kids took part in an Easter egg hunt by Wivenhoe Dam, showed off their creativity in a colouring-in competition and parents fuelled up with the help of an on-site coffee van.
A short drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Lake Moogerah was an easy escape for a long-weekend getaway. Kids took part in an Easter egg hunt and an Easter egg colouring-in competition, resulting in smiling kids, relaxed parents and memories made between nature walks and lakeside lounging.
Easter is just one example of how Bpro holiday parks help create memorable guest experiences for families year-round.
