Carramar Golf Course in Carramar, Western Australia, recently marked a major milestone, its 30th birthday! Since its grand opening in 1994, Carramar has grown into a cherished part of the community, drawing golfers from near and far to experience its lush greens and welcoming atmosphere.
On Sunday, October 20, the course celebrated in style, with a day full of special events and a little slice of cake for everyone to enjoy.






Visitors also enjoyed retail and food specials, plus free raffles for golf gear. Golfers and community members gathered for a day that was about much more than just the game, it was a celebration of Carramar’s history and its future.
With speeches by City of Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken who said, “Thirty years is a fantastic achievement for Carramar Golf Course and we’re incredibly excited to see what’s next.”



The golf course, known for its resort-style amenities and tranquil natural beauty, features an 18-hole course surrounded by woodlands, a spacious all-grass driving range and three practice greens. Golfers of all ages and abilities can join in the fun with junior clinics, development squads and adult lessons taught by certified PGA professionals.
Beyond golf, Carramar boasts a pro shop, equipment rentals, club fitting services and a cozy bar and café, making it a full-service venue.
Reflecting on Carramar’s legacy, Douglas Bailey, WA Business Operations Manager, expressed his gratitude for the course’s continued success and partnership with the City of Wanneroo. “We have an excellent working relationship with the City of Wanneroo and we’re very appreciative of their support for this course. Thirty years is a fantastic achievement,” he said.
